A shared AI tool built by Norway's Centre for Investigative Journalism (SUJO) to let local reporters cover municipal politics before decisions are taken rather than after. It automatically harvests agenda papers and supporting documents from Norwegian councils, summarises them, bundles the underlying material, identifies named people and companies, and links records to other relevant databases. Journalists can set personal thematic alerts — so a reporter might be warned in the morning that a person with a record of company bankruptcies is seeking approval for a zoning plan, and file the story that day. It also matches proposals to outcomes, tracking which items passed, which were sent back to the administration, and how voting blocs align. Idea originated with Rune Ytreberg and his team at iTromsø; piloted from June 2024 at iTromsø, Bergens Tidende and Framtid i Nord.
